2020.12.09 - Virtual Y Updates and Enhancements

This month’s update will include features from Open Y 8.2.7 and Virtual Y 1.1. More specifically…
New Authentication Options
- YMCAs may now leverage Nationwide Membership as an authentication option.
- YMCAs utilizing ReClique as their CRM have a new option to perform
If interested in utilizing either of these options, please let the Y Cloud team know.
Other Improvements
- User activity logs may now be downloaded on demand by navigating to the Export Log Records page.
- Admin Toolbar > Virtual Y > Logs > Export Log Records
- YMCAs may now decide where the Virtual Y logout link takes them by setting the URL in the Virtual YMCA Settings page.
- Admin Toolbar > Virtual Y > Virtual YMCA Settings > “Virtual Y Logout url” field.
- Zoom embeds have been improved to provide a smoother user experience. Virtual Y now links to Zoom meetings as embeds are not fully supported by Zoom and resulted in an inconsistent experience for users.
- Site Owners will now be able to use “Contextual Links” to edit the Navigation Menu and Footer Links. Look for the pencil icon to the right of those sections of your site.
- Site Owners, Editors, and Contributors will now be able to access the Media Browser from the Media Browser page.
- Admin Toolbar > Content > Media Browser.
Bug Fixes
- Blog posts missing categories now properly display
- Blog posts without hero images will no longer contain excess white space.
- Fixed an issue that prevented some content from displaying to Virtual Y admins.
- Fixed an issue resulting in a mismatched entity description error.
- Fixed an issue for Personify SSO where users were able to log out of Virtual Y, but not Personify.
- Fixed an issue resulting in broken Vimeo links for recurring events.
- Fixed a display issue where a comma would appear after single categories.
