YMCA's Digital Services Updates

A new platform update is upon us and we have some goodies! This month’s platform update, based on Open Y 8.2.7.3 & Virtual Y 1.3, has enhancements across member experience, administration, and design. We’ve also added a few additional updates and fixes as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the Y Cloud team. We’re happy to help.

So, without further ado, let’s look at the changes and updated schedule for this release. 

Highlights

Member Experience Enhancements

• Take me to my destination! Members are now rewarded for all their bookmarking work. Now, members who haven’t logged in and   use their bookmarked links to access content will be redirected to their desired content after login.

Design Enhancements

• “No content found” message is now configurable. A popular request, you can now configure the “no content found” message for Virtual Events and Live Streams.

Administrative Enhancements

• Scheduling content - Ever wanted to create blog posts or add video content set to go live in the future? Now you can schedule when videos and blog posts should be available automatically for members to enjoy. To publish or not to publish, that is the question. Well, that was the question, but not anymore.  

• Default sorting for Videos & Blog Posts is now configurable - Perhaps you want videos sorted alphabetically and you want blog posts sorted from newest to oldest. Default sorting options can be configured per content type to better suit the needs of your YMCA.

• ReClique SSO integration - YMCAs using ReClique can now have members authenticated via ReClique’s single sign-on process.

• Column sorting is now enabled for Event Series/Event Instances views - As your event series and thus, event instance content grows, you may want to view the content in an order that’s convenient for your YMCA. Whether “alphabetical” or “recently updated”, the sorting choice is yours.

• Virtual Y Activity Log data enhancements - Hey Log Lovers and Reporters, we didn’t forget about you. We’ve updated the activity log to generate a report that summarizes each member’s daily Virtual Y usage time in one line so that you can quickly and accurately report your average number of daily members and average time spent on the site.

 Other Improvements & Fixes

Update	Enhanced security (authentication by unique device) for CSV & Y-USA auth logins.
Update	Restrict YouTube to limit related videos to those of the association.
Update	Improved Virtual Y Activity Logs to have the same information on the web and exported file.
Fix	Allow admin access to the staff members that exist in the CSV file.
Fix	Information duplication in the Activity Report.
Fix	When using Y-USA Provider, allow members with updated Daxko barcodes to log in without error.
Fix	Filter modal is now scrollable enabling view of all category options.
Fix	Footer alerts are now working in themes Rose and Lily.
