2021.11.4 - Y CLOUD UPDATE

I hope you are doing well. You may have seen the communication about my departure from Y-USA. I enjoyed working with you, and getting to know many of you personally.  You can keep in touch with me on LinkedIn. All the work we have started together will continue as we have a solid team supporting your digital needs.  

The purpose of this post is to give you a quick update on the latest ongoings of our Y Cloud digital products. This message is also being sent via email to the leaders and the points of contact of the YMCAs who have expressed interest in the Y Cloud.

 

Open Y digital platform transition to Y-USA:

We announced the Open Y digital platform transition to Y-USA last month. This is a major milestone in our digital journey and part of our digital transformation strategy. You can read the announcement here along with the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). We also hosted a webinar to the movement to discuss the transition. You can watch the recording here. Y Cloud:

As of this writing, we have over 266 YMCA associations (1170 YMCA branches) signed up to use one or more of our digital products.

 

Virtual Y:

We have 190 YMCA associations (794 Y branches) signed up for the Virtual Y.

 

Open Y:

We have 160 YMCA associations (762 Y branches) signed up for the Open Y software-as-a-service offering.

 

YMCA Universal App:

  • We have 242 YMCA associations (1037 Y branches) signed up for the YMCA Universal App. 
  • You can watch the latest features rolled out in the Universal App in this video.
  • We have many Ys starting to use the mobile app and launching for their members.
