YMCA's Digital Services Updates

This email was sent to all Early Adopters. Happy New Year!  We have some great news to share on the YMCA Universal App!  

The team is ready to begin the onboarding process for YMCAs that confirmed early adopter interest of the mobile app.  

What to Expect: 

1. YMCAs will receive an Onboarding Initiation email outlining the process each week per the tentative schedule below.   

2. Upon receiving the email, review the YMCA Universal App Details and tiers so you may decide which option is best for your YMCA.  

3. In order to initiate the Universal App process, fill out the intake form found in the email.   We ask you do this in up to 5 business days from receiving your onboarding email.  

4. The Universal App team will then contact you within 3 business days to confirm your YMCA’s details and officially start the onboarding process.  

A few key things to note: 

• We are in the early adoption period of the Universal App. We will gain valuable insight through our interaction and refine the process based upon our learnings. We seek your partnership and patience in this journey. We commit to elevated transparency and communication throughout this process.  

• The YMCA associations are grouped based on several criteria including the order of interest submission. 

• While we will start the onboarding process based upon the dates in the attachment, the entire process to launch your YMCA’s app to your members will differ for each association. We will work with you directly, collaborating throughout this process.

If for whatever reason are not ready or cannot commit at this time, please let us know so that we may engage the next YMCA in list. We will work with you to find the proper onboarding date so your Y may move forward when ready. We are partners in this journey together and are looking forward to collaborating with you.
