2021.01.11 - Y Cloud Update
I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. I wanted to provide a quick update on the digital products we are building on the Y Cloud digital platform: Virtual Y, YMCA Universal App and Open Y Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
I am sending this email to leaders and points-of-contact at the YMCAs that have expressed interest in one or more of these products. You will be receiving frequent updates from the ‘Y Cloud’ mailbox on various activities. All updates from the Y Cloud team. I intend to send a summary periodically to keep you in the loop.
- Virtual Y SaaS:

- This platform is maturing rapidly. So far we have on-boarded 132 YMCAs. Each YMCA is in different stages of launching Virtual Y. We also went international with deploying Virtual Y for one of the Canada YMCAs.

- YMCA Universal App:

- The minimum viable product (MVP) development was completed in October. We are currently getting ready to complete Release 1 by February. We were able to sign a very good national discounted agreement for the Y’s who are interested to use the Universal App. We understand each Y is in a different stage when it comes to a mobile app. We intend to work with each one of you to on-board the mobile app platform. We kicked off the on-boarding process this week with the Ys who have confirmed their initial interest. We expect to onboard up to 25 Ys to the mobile app platform per month as the onboarding process matures.

- Open Y SaaS:

- We launched our first Open Y website for Silicon Valley YMCA as a turnkey deployment on 1/4/2021. We are currently working with 6 Ys as a pilot. We will continue to reach out to the Ys those who have expressed interest.
